    Susanna Dreisbach Shafer was born on April 14, 1767 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania and baptized on June 7, 1767. Her father was Colonel Johann Jost Dreisbach.

    She married Jacob Shafer. He was the son of John Peter Shafer and Catherine Magdaline Hoefflich.

    She died September 30, 1834.

    Dreisbach is also spelled Dresbach, Dresback, Driesbach, Driesbaugh, Dreisback, and Treisbach.
    Shafer Spellings: Schaeffer, Schafer, Schaffer, Shaffer
    Northampton County, Pennsylvania is on the eastern border of the state in the Lehigh Valley. It was formed in 1752 from parts of Bucks County. Easton is the county seat.
