Absalom Haworth was born in 1716 at Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Haworth and Sarah Scarborough.

He married Elizabeth Payne. Elizabeth was the daughter of Josiah  Payne and Martha Sheppard in 1738.

Absalom Haworth, Jr. (1743, married Phoebe Wright),
Richard Haworth (1744),
Mary Haworth (1745, married William Wright), and
Hannah Haworth (1748, married Benjamin Moreland).

They were members of the Hopewell Monthly Meeting in Frederick County, Virginia.

Absalom died on April 17, 1752, in Frederick County, Virginia.
