William Gregg was born about 1642 in Ireland. His wife was named Ann. Ann and William's children included: John Gregg (1668, married Elizabeth Cooke), They came to America in 1682 and William received a grant of 200 acres in the Christiana Hundred in Rockland Manor. In January, 1684, he received an additional 400 acres. They called their plantation Strand Millas. At first they were members of the Newark Monthly Meeting, but in 1687 William and other Quakers in the area received permission to start their own meeting called the Centre Monthly Meeting. William died in 1687 and Anne died in January 1692 |

John Gregg was born about 1668 in Ireland. He married Elizabeth Cooke. William Gregg (1695, married Margery Kinkey), John died in 1738.
