Henry Shrite (1764) married Mary Ann Thomas (1776).

Their children were
Jacob Shrite (1793, married Mary Hilton),
John Shrite (1795, died young),
Elizabeth Shrite (1797, married Thomas Goddard),
Catherine Shrite (1800),
Isaac Shrite (1802),
Regina Shrite Deck (1805, married Simon Deck),
Henry Thomas Shrite (1807), and
Mary Ann Shrite (1810)

Henry Shrite bought 300 acres in Sullivan County from J. Maxwell, on June 14, 1790.
