Elizabeth Warner Gott was born on June 30, 1666 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. Her parents were John Warner and Hannah Batchelder.

According to New England Marriages Prior to 1700 by Clarence Almon Torrey, she married Charles Gott. Charles was born on August 7, 1662. This does not seem to be correct as he was survived by his second wife, Lydia Clark.

Other researchers have her husband as John Gott son of Daniel Gott and Mary Morris.
